FCA Haiti was established in 2010 after the devastating earthquake. Our task was to go into the orphanages and tent cities and set up sports and mentoring programs in an effort to bring hope and normalcy during a time of crisis.
Since then, we have gained access to a multi-sport complex in Port-Au-Prince (Centre Sportive De Carrefour) where we facilitate 5 sports and mentoring programs for volleyball, basketball, soccer, and tennis.
FCA Haiti has also partnered with local schools in the city of Carrefour to give opportunities to student’s that are interested in learning a sport. Currently our after-school programs serve over 200 youth in Haiti and are led by 9 international staff.
